A place where I ramble, let you know things you don't need to know, and hopefully infotain you along the way.

Holy Poop, Good!

If the switch from 8-bit to 16-bit was a big deal for you… you’re going to love Scott Pilgrim vs. The World. (Don’t even get me started on the 32/64 generation)

Slap a smile on my face and tickle me silly, I loved this movie. From the opening credits (there’s a very special theme for the Universal opening sequence) to the very end I was having a good time.

Part of me even forgot that I was watching George-Michael kicking-ass during this movie. That is until Michael Cera ends up in a sword fight… at that point I can only think of this.

Style is everything for this film. Thanks to Mr. Leask, I read the graphic novels before seeing the movie and the feel of the books is right up there on screen. Little touches, like dialog boxes, bleeps, bloops, and pee metres bring you right into this wonderful universe.

Please go see this movie. Although I wasn’t a huge fan of the ending (the general theme in the novels and movie is the same) I wouldn’t change a thing about this film.

Also I think Knives Chau is the secret-main character. She goes through the biggest change, and I’m glad to see she’s all growed up.
